Join a relaxed gathering to wake the seeds and prepare for the year ahead:
Spend time together to:
- sort, pack and browse new seed varieties in the library
- help to germination test seeds saved in our last growing season
- be creative by drawing seeds with the help of hand lenses, and designing artwork for future seed packets
- browse our collection of books and pamphlets around seed ecologies, gardening, herbalism, permaculture, food sovereignty and land justice
- a chance to explore the beautiful surrounds of The Hidden Gardens
All are welcome to stop by, for a few minutes or a few hours. The library will be open for anyone to browse and select seeds, and it’s a good opportunity to discuss your 2025 growing plans with seed librarians Rowan and Meg.
We will have hot drinks, a vegan hot soup and light refreshments available. Let us know you’re coming, and if you have any dietary restrictions by emailing glasgowseedlibrary@cca-glasgow.com.
